Beautiful Winter

60 Years ~ A Family Tradition

Six decades ago, William Lee and George B. Whitacre purchased Shawnee Canning Co. and relocated their roadside stand from a busy Cross Junction intersection to the front of the cannery—laying the foundation for what would become Shawnee Springs Market.

The name Shawnee Springs pays tribute to the rich Native American heritage of Cross Junction, Virginia, honoring the land and history that have shaped our community.

Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing vintage photos and stories from our past as we celebrate where we’ve been—and where we’re headed.

As we look to the future, we’re excited to roll out fresh designs. Today, we’re proud to introduce our updated logo.
